In the Name of God Amen Know all men, That on ye 29th Day of Decemba [December]. 1670 at or about five a clock in ye [the] evening did appeare [appear] in own person before me, Disk Van Schellyne Publick Notary, residing in New Yorke, admitted by ye right honor: Francis Lovelace Govern: generall [general] in behalf [behalf] of his Royall [Royal] Highnesse [Highness] James Duke of Yorke, albany &c. all his terra-tories [territories] in America, and before the undermentioned witnesses, Elizabeth Tysson first widdowe [widow] of Maryn Adrianson deceased, and afterward of Geerlof. living here in the Smiths meadow, very well known to me Notary and the underwritten wittnesses, being sound in body, going and Standing, her sences [senses] reasons and understanding & memory powerfully using, as outwardly appeared and could not be perceived to ye [the] Contrary which appearant considering ye shortnings and frugallity of live [life] of men, the Certainty of death, and ye [the] uncertayne [uncertain] house thereof, and being willing to prevent ye [the] Same, by a due disposition of her temporall goods to be left by decease [deceased]

The appearant declared without induction, or Persuasion of any to have made ordained and Concluded this her Last will and Testament, in manner and forme [form] following. First and above all things recommending her immortall Soule [immortal soul], when ye [the] Same Shall be departed out of ye body, in the grace and mercifull [merciful] hands of God her Creator and Saviour, and her Corps to a Christian or decent burial [burial].
